Journey through the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka pass and the legendary Ait Benhaddou kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage). Arrive in M'Hamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the Sahara. Night in a comfortable fixed bivouac.
Begin the trek into the desert. Visit the sacred Sidi Naji mausoleum. Continue to the heart of the dunes. Night in a nomadic bivouac under spectacular starry skies.
Head to the orange dunes of Erg Zahar, known as "The Howling Dunes" for the sound the wind makes. Visit the ancient nomadic market site. Night camping among the golden dunes.
Sunrise breakfast on the dunes, then return to M'Hamid by 4x4. Transfer back to Marrakech.
